Happy New Year

30 December 2011 by , 3 Comments

I’m planning a very steady evening tomorrow night, basically I’m being boring, I’ve done my fair share of partying over the last few months. I don’t recommend it though you should all get on it!

2011 has been an amazing year for racing, for me I really didn’t expect the season to be as successful as it turned out. I was in the zone from January onwards and worked my ass off, I intend to do the same in 2012.

If I’m honest I don’t think breaking my ankle was a bad thing, at the time it was a bitter pill to swallow but I feel stepping out the racing bubble for a few months has mentally done me the world of good, I’ve met some really sound people and enjoyed leading a Normal life for a little while and most importantly it has freshened me up.

I just want to thank you all for your support. It means an awful lot to me your attention and encouragement really gives me the drive to do better, your like parents that I want to make proud!

I’m back in the racing bubble and 2012 is getting 110% from me. I have set no targets but wish to remain healthy and happy.

I think you could be right, sometimes an enforced break is ideal to keep you hungry, as otherwise you wouldn’t bother taking a rest and that can turn things stale, you’ve come back in good form and when you get full fitness back you will be unstoppable lol, hopefully see you at Yarmouth this year,
    Happy new year Hayley
