Just to let you know the operation went very well, I had a couple of screws put in my left ankle. The Surgeon said it was a clean break which made his work uncomplicated.
I have been surprised at the lack of pain, maybe the morphine has played a part in that or maybe it’s just because I’m hard as!! I’m going for the latter.
Heading home tomorrow, The Princess (my dog) will have been worrying about my absence. My sister Gemma sent me a picture of her dog who was modelling my landing position!!
I wonder should I go back to being a child and get my friends to write on my cast? One thing I know I will do is SLEEP!!! There’s a lot of sleep talking going on in this ward, hence the reason why I’m writing this at 1.40 AM!

How brilliant you really are Hayley – great attitude given what’s happened to you. Glad you’re ok and will be home soon – just think of all that telly you and your dog will be watching! Get well – we all miss you already. With those fabulous legs you should take up modelling!
