Hayley's Moon BootJust been to see the Doc to have my cast off and replaced with a really attractive ‘Moon Boot’, if people didn’t think I was a moon woman before they will now!

The whole process has gone very smoothly and has continued to, although I have to admit I’ve been slightly premature with my dates, I was hoping to return in a month but it’s more likely to be 3!!

Ahh well, I’m going to continue enjoying my time off and I’ll be back in 2012 hungrier than Eva!!!

Apologies for my absence, I think we should hold my Nanna & eldest sister responsible for this.

My Nanna has no signal at her house and has no idea what her wireless passcode is. As Nanna’s go she is pretty Hi-tech, I was impressed with her texting skills at the age of 80, not only that she is now a regular Facebook user and follows me on Twitter, FACT!

As for the eldest sister Connie she’s a city girl and likes wine…… enough said.

2 weeks down and I’m still enjoying myself. I wonder is boredom lurking around the corner?

Live Horse Racing

People have remarked on what good spirits I am in, given I am going to be out of action for up to two months with my broken ankle.

Okay, so I did cry when I was told it was broken (!) but that only lasted for two minutes and after that I was fine.

It could have been a lot worse and that goes for the break itself which was a clean one. It was my first ever break and there was no ligament damage or other broken bones so I’ve got nothing to really moan about, especially when you look at what the Jumps jockeys go through. [...]

BURGHLEY

Myself and a bunch of friends went for a day out to Burghley Horse Trials on Sunday, seemed like a good idea at the time!!

It was chucking it down when we arrive and the whole place was covered in mud and damp tweed!!

I met up with my sister Connie who we found easily enough, she’s a city girl and looked very similar to Patsy from Absolutely Fabulous, fair play to her for coming, I think she felt she had to, her little sister is poorly!!

So there’s me with a bust leg and Lydia who has a broken arm, we got mistaken for Lou and Andy.(Little Britain)

We didn’t see anything, and left the place looking like we had spent the weekend at Glastonbury! Had fun though, as they say it’s not where you are it’s who your with.
