Hope you all had a lovely Christmas I did. My Nanna fed me a ridiculous amount, thankfully I didn’t have any light rides on Boxing Day

Delighted that I won on Opus Maximus for Coner Dore It was really good of him to let me keep the ride after he clearly ran off with me last time, my fitness is getting back on track. Coner needs 2 more winners before the end of the year to reach his target which is 30. 

How good was the Boxing Day footage at Kempton! I wish I could have been there the crowed were amazing when Kauto when past the grandstand, I’m lucky to see more that 10 people there when I’m riding there! What a brilliant result for racing and a perfect way to round up 2011.

I’m going to wear my new Notts County jacket  today my Dad got it me for Christmas, they’re playing Sheffield United but I won’t get chance to see the match as I’m riding at Southwell on Grudge at 1.15, Exopuntia at 2.25 and lastly Lucky Dime at 3.00.

Fridays Post…..on Saturday!

It was a real buzz to get back on track this week, delighted to have a winner to….I’ve still got it!!

I have to admit I’m lacking some arm strength, a couple of horses have got the better of me this week, having giant manly arms is not a good look but I need them back.

Really enjoyed the SPOTY awards, a good result although I would have like Andrew Strauss or Daren Clarke to win.

There’s been a lot of chat about the lack of girls on the short list but in my opinion we need to remember that it is Sports PERSONALITY of the year not Sports Biggest Achievement of the year, the top 10 have built up a relationship with public, look at AP he won because of his success over the years and winning the national that year topped it off, Giggs is another good example also the fashion of the sport plays a big part.

I’ve got two rides booked on Boxing Day at Wolverhampton, One Way Or Another at 2.25 and then Opus Maximus at 2.55. And one on the 27th at Southwell aboard Grudge so hopefully I can pick up a winner for Christmas!
