 How lucky am I! Only a few weeks after my first group one win on Dream Ahead, I go and bang in a winner at Glorious Goodwood on Boom And Bust in the totesport Mile. Lovely Jubbly!!

If I’m honest with you I wouldn’t usually get over excited by the meeting, purely for the selfish reason that I never have much success there, my strike rate is moderate!

We made the most of our draw in stall one – a huge advantage for his style of running, he got a breather down the hill and he stuck his neck out to hold off the fast-finishing Proponent, game as!! Thanks to Marcus Tregoning and his team, his horses were on fire at Goodwood.

Some good coverage in the press this month too, lots of nice things said which is always humbling.
